Gracie Kaufman, a 17-year-old from Iowa, has been training her own horse, Zeph, to help pay for college. Kaufman hopes to study animal science at Iowa State University and plans to sell Zeph to an experienced owner to fund her tuition.
Passion for Horses
Kaufman’s love for horses began at a young age, and she has been caring for her own animals at home while juggling school and a job. She will be showcasing her hard work at the state fair and participating in the Cowgirl Queen contest.
