Iowa Sues Roblox

A trial has been scheduled for Iowa’s lawsuit against the online gaming company Roblox for November 8, 2027. The lawsuit, filed by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird in December, alleges the platform puts Iowa children at risk of sexual exploitation.

Lawsuit Details

Roblox said the game monitors all communications, and users cannot send or receive messages via chat. The trial date was agreed upon during a trial scheduling hearing held Wednesday morning.
