Aaron Donald, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, worked out for the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, signaling a potential end to his retirement.
Donald, 35, had 111 career sacks in 10 NFL seasons with the Rams and is a nearly certain Pro Football Hall of Fame selection when his eligibility arrives.
Rams Coach Optimistic
Rams coach Sean McVay expressed optimism about Donald’s potential return, saying it was the “best tryout we’ve ever had” and that he thinks Donald “could make the team”.
Donald informed Rams defensive end Myles Garrett that he was considering rejoining the team after sitting out the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
