The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a proposed project to widen Highway 69 from the Des Moines River to Scott Avenue in Des Moines.
The proposal also includes adding a 10-foot trail within Pete Crivaro Park. According to the DOT, no amenities in the park will be impacted. A survey is open for public feedback through the end of the month on the Iowa DOT website.
