Cincinnati firefighters responded to a West End building after a fire on the roof of a logistics company on Friday afternoon. First responders were called to the 1100 block of Hopkins Street around 2:30 p.m. Friday for a report of a fire.
Arriving crews knocked down the fire on the roof of the building, which left substantial damage to the AC unit but didn’t cause any damage inside. The Cincinnati Fire Department shared photos of the aftermath, which show the unit damaged.
No injuries were reported. Around 60 firefighters responded to the two-alarm fire. All people who were inside were safely evacuated from the building. Investigators are looking into what started the fire.
