First responders in Milford Township, Ohio, came to the aid of an injured American bald eagle. Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a large injured bird in the roadway near U.S. 127 and Oxford Middletown Road.
Rescue Efforts
Upon arrival, they discovered it was an American bald eagle that was injured. Shannon Frantz with RAPTOR Inc. safely retrieved the bird to help it receive care. The sheriff’s office reported that the bird has an injury to its left foot but is able to stand and is otherwise healthy.
