Indy S Fam Fest Offers Cleanup Free School Supplies

A local creative collective, Slum Baby Family, is hosting Fam Fest, a free weekend event, at two eastside parks in Indianapolis.

Event Details

The event will take place on August 1-2 at Frederick Douglass Park and Wes Montgomery Park. On August 1, a community pickup day will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at Douglass Park, where participants can receive free water and snacks.

The second day of Fam Fest will be on August 2 from 4-8 p.m. at Wes Montgomery Park, where attendees can receive free school supplies, haircuts, and barbecue meals. There will also be music and a kickball game with local musicians, artists, and community advocates.
