Hospice of Texarkana is gearing up for its 17th annual Jeans & Bling Rock & Roll fundraiser, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Texarkana Convention Center. The evening promises live music, food, friendly competition and community spirit, all aimed at raising funds for the organization’s hospice services.

Entertainment and Activities

Headlining the night is Satisfaction, a Rolling Stones tribute band that includes Texarkana native Chris LeGrand. Guests will also enjoy a silent auction and a Celebrity Lip Sync Contest featuring Rev. Jeff and Kim Gantz, Robert Irwin and Suki O’Neal, who will compete for audience votes.

Audience members can cast $1 votes online through the hospice’s website or in person at the event. Online voting closes on Oct. 2, but attendees will have a final chance to purchase additional votes during the night.

Raffle and Prizes

The Rock Your World, Rock Your Room raffle will give participants the opportunity to win one of three travel experiences or a room makeover sponsored by Four States Furniture.

Tickets are $100 each and are available now at HospiceOfTexarkana.org. Sponsorship opportunities remain open for local businesses that wish to support the cause.

Impact on the Community

Funds raised help Hospice of Texarkana provide quality hospice care to roughly 500 patients and their families each year across Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas. Donations cover medications, medical equipment, patient care, and grief‑and‑bereavement services, delivered in homes, nursing facilities and the organization’s Inpatient Care Center.
