The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) announced that its Second Annual Guns & Hoses City Slickers Rodeo raised over $40,000 for local nonprofit organizations. The event, which had around 3,000 attendees, continues to support organizations serving first responders, military members, and the Pikes Peak region.
Community Support
The money will now be distributed among three organizations, according to EPSO. El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal expressed his pride in the event, stating that it represents what can be accomplished when first responders, military partners, local businesses, and the community come together for a common purpose.
The event has donated over $76,000 to local nonprofits in its first two years, says EPSO. This achievement demonstrates the power of community support and the impact that can be made when individuals and organizations work together towards a common goal.
