The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 was recently enshrined in Canton, and now it’s time to look ahead to the Class of 2027. A trio of players, including Rob Gronkowski and Adrian Peterson, will likely be considered as first-ballot selections.
Top Candidates
Gronkowski, widely considered one of the greatest tight ends of all-time, is a lock for the Hall of Fame. He won four Super Bowls, made five Pro Bowls, and was first-team All-Pro four times during his 11 seasons with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Peterson, the most dominant running back of his era, won MVP in 2012 and ranks fifth all-time with 122 rushing touchdowns and 14,918 rushing yards. Other top candidates include Ben Roethlisberger, Richard Sherman, and Antonio Brown.
Returning Finalists
A number of returning finalists, including Bill Belichick, Eli Manning, and Jason Peters, will also be considered for the Hall of Fame in 2027.
