The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office hosted a camp in honor of Marcus Whitfield at Berea High School. The Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp includes deputies teaching leadership, responsibility, and life lessons to shape leaders of tomorrow.
Whitfield lost his life in the line of duty in 1999. The camp is a way for the sheriff’s office to give back to the community and honor Whitfield’s memory.
