Greenville County Bridge Closed

The state Department of Transportation has closed the bridge over Horse Creek along Latimer Mill Road in southern Greenville County for repairs.

The closure was implemented July 14 following inspections by SCDOT engineers and is expected to be temporary.

A detour route has been set up using Dunklin Bridge Road, West Ridgeway Road and Augusta Road (U.S. Highway 25) while repairs are undertaken.

The department urges drivers to be aware of work in the area, slow down and be aware of posted detour signs.
