Greenland School District students returned to class this Monday, marking the end of summer vacation for students across Arkansas.

Greenland Superintendent Andrea Martin expressed excitement about welcoming students back to campus. “We’re just anxious to welcome our students back to campus starting today. We have our families and our students on campus for orientation and transition days today and tomorrow, so we’re just excited to welcome them back. It’s been a really fast summer. But we’re ready. That’s so exciting,” Martin said.
Martin offered advice for families sending their children off to school: “Just be careful and be patient. You know, it’s hard to transition for all humans to new schedules, and we’re just excited to welcome them. So just, be patient and be excited and know. Then, you know, we’re going to take care of their babies and– and trust us with their education and just taking care of them.”
