Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) saw its third-busiest June this year, with 666,422 recreation visits. According to statistics released by GTNP, the total for the month is a 2% decrease from June of 2025, when 680,406 people visited the park.
Year-to-Date Trends
Visitation showed a 12% decrease from June 2021 (757,897 recreation visits), which was the park’s record-breaking year with over 3.88 million visits. So far this year, GTNP has hosted 1,300,932 recreation visits. That figure is a 2.5% increase over January through June of 2025, which recorded 1,268,597 visits.
Year-to-date, the total number of visits is down 7.4% from 2021, which saw 1,404,959 recreation visits. GTNP and Yellowstone National Park both had the busiest May on record this year. Yellowstone hosted just over 903,000 visitors in June.
