On Friday, Sept. 18, Baltimore’s waterfront Pier Six Pavilion will become the stage for a unique blend of culture, conversation and music. Governor Wes Moore and Mayor Brandon Scott are slated to appear alongside Grammy‑nominated hip‑hop artists Fat Joe and Jadakiss for a live taping of the popular “Joe and Jada” podcast, which will be streamed as a video on Netflix.

New leadership, new programming
In March 2026, The Finn Group partnered with New York‑based The Knitting Factory Entertainment to take over operations at Pier Six. Under the new leadership, the venue launched the “Soul on the Water” concert series in July, replacing the long‑running “Jazzy Summer Nights” series that had drawn more than 100,000 guests over 25 years.
Since reopening, Pier Six has welcomed over 90,000 fans across 25 concerts, performances and special events, and the 2026 season will run through late October.
About the “Joe and Jada” podcast
Launched in May 2025, the “Joe and Jada” podcast features Fat Joe and Jadakiss discussing music, sports, entertainment and culture. Past guests have included Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Allen Iverson, Teyana Taylor, Common, Ciara and Raekwon. The show has amassed nearly one million followers across YouTube and social media, earned the 2026 Shorty Award for Art & Culture Podcast, streams on Netflix, and is available on iHeartRadio and other major platforms.
Concert details
After the podcast taping, the duo will perform a one‑night‑only set overlooking Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Fat Joe, a five‑time Grammy nominee known for hits such as “What’s Luv?” and “Lean Back,” and Jadakiss, a three‑time Grammy nominee and member of The LOX, will bring more than three decades of hip‑hop history to the stage.
