The Milwaukee Bucks are trading superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat in a six-player and five draft pick deal. Bucks forward Bobby Portis will also head to Miami in the deal.
The Bucks are receiving Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, 3 first-round picks, 1 pick swap and 1 second-rounder. The three first round picks include the number 13 overall pick in Tuesday night’s NBA Draft and unprotected first-rounders in 2031 and 2033.
Antetokounmpo was drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall pick in 2013. In his time with the Bucks he earned two NBA MVP awards, was named to 10 all-star teams, made the All-NBA First Team seven times and won NBA Finals MVP in 2021 leading Milwaukee to their first NBA title in 50 years.
