Gaylord Texan Features Harry Potter Ice Experience

The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine announced that it will feature Harry Potter in its 2026 ice! experience. The resort will debut ‘ice! featuring Harry Potter’ as the marquee attraction in this year’s Lone Star Christmas.

Details of the Event

Martha Neibling, the resort’s director of marketing and public relations, said that putting Harry Potter on ice has never been done before, and Texas gets it first. The event will feature 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice, with elements inspired by the wizarding world.

Artisans from China will arrive in October to start sculpting the ice blocks into beloved characters like Hedwig and iconic scenes such as Hogsmeade Station and the Forbidden Station. The 9-degree ice! experience and the 22nd annual Lone Star Christmas will run from November 13th through January 3rd.

Visitors can purchase tickets or book early bird packages online starting today.
