Legendary actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise was a guest on the latest edition of OutKick’s “Tomi Lahren is Fearless,” and one of the things they touched on had to do with the idea that, as Americans, we should never take our freedoms for granted.
Appreciating Everyday Freedoms
Lahren noted to the “Forrest Gump” star and veterans advocate that World Cup fans from around the globe were discovering rural and small-town America. Sinise talked about how there are plenty of people around the world who have no concept of the freedoms we enjoy every day, and recounted what it’s like to visit the DMZ between North and South Korea.
Sinise said he doesn’t take for granted that people fought to defend those freedoms. “I don’t take my freedom for granted,” he said. “I don’t take any of these things for granted because I know there are places on Earth that really don’t understand what those kinds of things are.”
