Pasco County, Fla. – Emergency crews are working to contain a 200-acre brush fire near State Road 52 and Ehren Cutoff. The Pasco County Fire Rescue and the Florida Forest Service are on the scene, using backburning operations to halt the spread of flames.
Rescue Efforts
Crews discovered a baby deer caught in a nearby fence and successfully extracted the animal. The fawn is now in the custody of the Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife, where veterinary staff is treating its injuries.
