Garrison Brothers Distillery Unveils Ranch Reserve Series in Texas

Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first legal whiskey distillery in Texas, has announced the launch of its Ranch Reserve Series. This new collection of limited-edition bourbons explores unique finishing casks, showcasing the bold flavors of Texas bourbon. The distillery, located in Hye, Texas, is renowned for its handcrafted, corn-to-cork bourbon whiskey.

Introducing the Ranch Reserve Series

The Ranch Reserve Series will debut with two inaugural releases: Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in PX Sherry Casks and Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks. Both expressions are aged for eight years, beginning with four years in white American oak barrels followed by four years in sherry casks.

The PX Sherry Cask Finished bourbon offers a rich, sweet profile with notes of toffee, caramel, figs, and candied fruit, bottled at 109 proof. The Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished bourbon, bottled at 110 proof, provides a savory taste with hints of walnut and baking spices. Each bottle will retail for $149.99.

Craftsmanship and Community

Garrison Brothers Distillery takes pride in its craftsmanship, using Texas-grown grain and pure rainwater to produce its bourbon. Founded in 2006 by Dan and Nancy Garrison, the distillery has become a staple in the local community, offering tours and special events to thousands of visitors annually.

The Ranch Reserve Series features a new bottle design with a leather band and walnut-colored wax dipping, emphasizing the distillery’s commitment to quality and tradition. Each expression will produce 6,000 bottles, initially available at the distillery and later online and in select markets.
