Former Arizona Wildcat guard Gabe York has been named to Team USA’s qualifying squad for the 2027 FIBA World Cup. He will play in games next month in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
York’s Career
York, 32, most recently played for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese Basketball Association, averaging 13.8 points and 3.3 assists. He has also played in the NBA, G League, and pro leagues in Italy, Germany, France, Israel, Puerto Rico, Spain, and China.
At Arizona, York played in 124 games with 59 starts from 2012-16 and averaged 15 points per game as a senior, leading the Pac-12 in 3-point shooting.
