Families in Bernalillo County can enjoy a free drive-in movie event at Balloon Fiesta Park, featuring a screening of Disney’s ‘A Goofy Movie’.

The event, part of the Seasons of Nonviolence Summer Series, will take place in the east parking lot of Balloon Fiesta Park, located at 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE. Gates will open at 6 p.m., allowing attendees to arrive, visit vendors, and enjoy pre-show activities before the movie starts at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Guests can watch the film from inside their vehicles or bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit in a designated viewing area near the screen. Movie audio will be broadcast through vehicle radios on 91.1 FM and will also be available through speakers positioned near the seating area.
In addition to the movie, attendees will have access to food trucks and informational booths throughout the evening. As an added incentive, attendees who complete a survey at the event will receive a voucher that can be redeemed with any participating food truck on-site.
The Seasons of Nonviolence initiative regularly hosts events aimed at promoting community engagement, education, and positive social connections through family-oriented activities. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, as parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
