Fort Worth Fall Home & Garden Show Offers Plants, Art and Free Music

Fort Worth families and plant lovers have a weekend to look forward to. The Fort Worth Fall Home & Garden Show returns for three days, Aug. 28‑30, at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibit Hall in the Will Rogers Memorial Center. Admission is free, making it an easy outing for anyone who wants to add greenery to their home or simply enjoy a day of local culture.

Shop for Houseplants and Home Goods

From hardy ZZ plants and pothos to snake plants, Chinese money trees, dumb cane and a variety of cacti, vendors will display a wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Gardening experts will be on hand to answer questions about fall planting, soil preparation and landscape design. In addition to plants, the show features artisan home‑decor items, specialty kitchenware and improvement products that can refresh any room.

Free Live Music and Local Flavors

While you browse, the venue will host a free performance by the local band Calamity Janes inside the Home Plate area. No cover charge or membership is required, and food and beverage specials will be available throughout the evening.

Family‑Friendly Theater

Evening entertainment includes the play Raggedy Farm, a heart‑warming story about an orphan who finds a new home with a couple moving from the city to a farm. The production runs at the Hip Pocket Theatre on Aug. 28, 29 and 30, with tickets ranging from $15 to $28.

Experimental Art Collaboration

Fort Worth’s experimental art scene will be highlighted with the group exhibition “GReasy,” curated by Giant Runt Gallery. The show brings together seven artists represented by the nearby Easyside space, including Francisco Josué Alvarado Araujo, Claire Kennedy and Maria Barrientos. The exhibition runs noon‑5 p.m. on Aug. 29 and is free to the public.

Latino Artistico Market

On Aug. 29, The Forkyard will host “Latino Artistico,” a market showcasing handmade goods, jewelry, face painting and glitter tattoos from local creators. A DJ will provide music throughout the evening, and entry is free.

Practical Details

Parking at any Will Rogers Memorial Center lot costs $15. The show’s schedule is:
