Studio Sabka, an art studio in Fort Worth’s West 7th district, was founded by the late Albanian artist Sabaudin Grigor Aleksi Xhaferi, also known as Sabka. The studio is now led by Sabka’s son, Laert Aleksi Xhaferi, and offers lessons in realism art.
Lessons and Services
The studio provides lessons on traditional, classical art and caters to the needs of its students. Laert Aleksi Xhaferi emphasized that students do not need to be good artists to join the studio, but rather good students. The studio guides students step by step to create a finished product.
Studio Sabka also holds art shows to display students’ completed pieces and occasionally features artwork from the Sabka family. The studio welcomes students of all ages, from 6 to 100 years old, and believes that art is not just about talent, but also about good education and teachers.
Unique Approach
What sets Studio Sabka apart from other art studios is its focus on individual needs and flexibility. The studio does not have a set curriculum and instead listens to what clients want and tries to deliver that. For example, if a student wants to learn how to be a good portrait artist, the studio will specifically focus on portraits with that person.
The studio also makes everything easy for its students by providing all the necessary art supplies and taking care of setup and cleanup. This allows students to focus on learning and enjoying their time at the studio.
