U.S. Army Sgt. Michael Swinton, a Fayetteville native, will be laid to rest on Monday. A processional service from the funeral home to the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Bragg Blvd in Spring Lake will begin at 11:15 a.m.
Swinton was remembered at a funeral on Saturday at the Southview Baptist Church in Hope Mills.
