Former Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon was back in the area, making a difference through his foundation. Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle, presented a donation check worth $10,925 to the Families of Children with Cancer Foundation at the Howard Commons.

The foundation, which focuses on combating hunger and empowering families throughout Northeast Wisconsin, raised the funds through a successful Luke Combs ‘Packs with Purpose’ livestream on May 14. The event raised $21,850 for local charities by opening and auctioning hundreds of trading cards on Fanatics Collect.
‘Regardless of which team I’m on or where I’m at when it comes to football, Green Bay has given so much to myself and my family,’ said Dillon. ‘And we continue our efforts here from the Pickleball event we had a couple weeks back to this Luke Combs event and now presenting this check.’ He added, ‘I think everybody for the most part has somebody or knows somebody affected by cancer and we were just talking. We wish that this wasn’t even an organization that needed to be possible, we wish that everybody was healthy obviously.’
