Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant is officially ready to start building its new electric pickup truck. The space has been transformed from one that assembles gas-powered vehicles to a fully electric facility.
Preparing for the Launch
It also features a brand-new system for putting those vehicles together, a change the company calls its biggest since the Model T. This is all to get ready for the launch of the new Ford Fathom electric truck. Production is set to start at the Louisville plant in 2027.
