Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, is wanted for murder in Florida. A warrant for her arrest was issued on June 26, and she has been dodging detectives ever since. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office said Johnson, who is a “cunning master manipulator,” has been relying on the help of others to stay incognito.
Murder Investigation
Johnson is accused of killing Jason Christopher Coulthart, 43. His remains were found on June 25, buried on a property in Freeport, located in Florida’s Panhandle. Coulthart was reported missing a month earlier on May 24. The last time Coulthart was seen alive was when he was leaving the College Condominiums on East College Boulevard.
Johnson has worn different hairstyles, hats, and even eyeglasses to change up her appearance. She also has reportedly been giving out different names to identify herself, like “Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, and Denise” to different people she comes in contact with, the sheriff’s office said.
Sheriff Michael Adkinson said, “Anyone found to have helped or is still assisting Isabelle Johnson avoid arrest will be charged accordingly.” He went on to say, “If you give her a place to stay, help her hide, or lie for her, you will face consequences. This is a homicide case. We will not allow anyone to get in the way of this investigation.”
Multiple law enforcement organizations have come together to offer up a $16,000 reward for information that could lead to Johnson’s arrest.
