The Florida Mango Festival is coming to West Palm Beach, featuring local mango farmers and a variety of mangoes to try and buy. The festival, in its third year, will take place on June 27th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Meet the Farmers
Alex Salazar and Vince Rogers, organizers of the festival and owners of Tropical Acres Farms and Backyard Mangoes, respectively, are first-generation mango farmers. They will be at the festival, along with other local farmers and nurseries, to showcase their mangoes and share their knowledge of growing mangoes.
The festival will feature over 200 varieties of mangoes, as well as other tropical fruits like dragonfruit and lychees. Visitors can also purchase trees to plant in their yards and learn about growing mangoes through an educational program.
Food trucks and interactive displays will also be available. Tickets for the festival are $30 for general admission and $65 for early entry.
