A 25-year-old man in Dunnellon, Florida, is facing murder charges after detectives found his father’s body buried in a backyard grave. Andres Bahamon, who was already in jail on unrelated charges, confessed to the crime, telling detectives he believed his father was involved with satanic people and was plotting to kill him.

Investigation and Arrest

The investigation began on May 16 when a family member reported the father, Andres Bahamon-Prada, missing. Deputies found signs of foul play and obtained a search warrant for the property, where they discovered the father’s remains and several items with dried blood.

Bahamon initially refused to cooperate with police but later confessed to the murder, stating he had asked God for permission to kill his father before carrying out the act. He is currently being held without bond at the Marion County Jail.
