A proposed townhome project in Indianapolis’ Fletcher Place neighborhood has been revised to address concerns from nearby residents. The project, which was initially proposed to include 58 units, has been reduced to 52 units. The developers have also agreed to drop their request for higher density zoning and add a pocket park on Lord Street.

Neighborhood Concerns

Some neighbors still have concerns about the project, including the potential for short-term rentals and tree preservation. Matt Impink, president of the Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association, said he wants a better understanding of the environmental impact of the project. The historic preservation commission is expected to vote on the proposal in October.
