- Campfire Safety: Always supervise campfires and ensure they are completely extinguished before leaving the site or going to sleep. If a campfire is too hot to touch, it’s too hot to leave unattended.
- Fire-Safe Target Shooting: When target shooting, select areas free of flammable materials and have a fire extinguisher or water on hand. Note that exploding targets and tracer ammunition are prohibited on all public lands in Wyoming due to year-round wildfire prevention restrictions.
