By 3 p.m., the fire had grown significantly, expanding from initial estimates of 5 to 10 acres to over 50 acres.

The response to the fire includes personnel from the Kuna Fire Department and the U.S. Wildland Fire Service’s Great Basin Unit 1, based in Boise. The resources deployed to the scene consist of one overhead personnel, four engines, one dozer, one water tender, and a fire investigator.
