The Fern Creek 8U Softball All Stars are bringing a world championship back to Louisville. The Louisville team defeated Millry 14-7 in the Babe Ruth World Series championship game in Alabama.
Local Team Celebrated
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg celebrated the victory Sunday in a social media post, congratulating the young athletes on their championship run. Greenberg said the city looks forward to honoring the team’s accomplishments once they return home.
