According to troopers, Ayers was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 southwest on Centerpoint Road when he veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with an embankment. The vehicle came to a rest after the impact. Ayers, who was the sole occupant of the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
