The Woodlands community is set for a vibrant fall arts season. Three major events will showcase the talent of local and national artists, provide opportunities for creators to exhibit their work, and celebrate the achievements of area photographers.
Fine Craft, Art & Design Show – Market Street
Market Street will host the third annual Fine Craft, Art & Design Show, featuring more than 30 artists from across the region. Attendees can expect paintings, photography, jewelry, metalwork, sculptures, digital art, mixed media, and more. The indoor event is scheduled for the weekend of September 26‑27, with a backup date of Saturday, October 24, should inclement weather arise.
“Now in its 21st year, the Fall Fine Arts Show is one of the most highly anticipated events we host here at Market Street,” said Market Street Marketing Director John Pearson. “We are proud to be able to feature works by incredibly talented artists from our community.”
“The Art of Belonging” Juried Exhibition – The Woodlands Arts Council
The Woodlands Arts Council is calling on adult members of The Woodlands Art League and the Conroe Art League to submit original pieces for its juried exhibition, “The Art of Belonging.” The show celebrates the role art leagues play in bringing creators together. Artists have until September 30 to submit entries, with a $20 fee per work. A panel of jurors will select 30 pieces for display, and an opening reception is planned for November 12.
In addition to the exhibition, the council will host a juried art exhibit later this fall, offering further opportunities for artists to present original paintings, mixed media, ceramics, glass, wood, furniture, decorative fiber, jewelry, leather, wearable art, and more. Live music, artist talks, and other experiences will accompany the visual displays.
The Woodlands Photography Club 2026 Awards Ceremony and Exhibition
The Woodlands Photography Club invites the public to view the results of its annual awards competition. The 2026 ceremony will feature categories such as plants in nature, “Name the Mood,” black‑and‑white portraits, and additional themes that highlight the skill and creativity of local photographers. The exhibition will be open to community members who wish to appreciate the diverse visual storytelling emerging from the area.
