A Falcon 9 launch of the USSF-336 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15, at 2:52 p.m. Pacific Time. The exact payload of Saturday’s launch and the final destination for on-board components remains classified, confirmed Vandenberg Space Force Base.
A live webcast of the launch will begin about ten minutes before liftoff. Following first-stage separation, the booster assigned to this mission will return to Earth to land on the Of Course I Still Love You drone ship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean.
This will be the 18th flight for the first-stage booster on this mission. The same Falcon 9 previously launched the following missions: NROL-126, Transporter-12, SPHEREx, NROL-57, and 13 Starlink missions.
