He first eliminated t-shirts, practice kits, and special editions. Then, he got rid of jerseys that held bad memories, like losses to Germany.
He also considered the color, choosing between white and red. According to his research, England has a better win record in red. So, he chose the Euro 2004 Beckham No. 7 red jersey.
His friend wore a different jersey, the ’96 Seaman goalie kit, which the fan thought was rare and cool.
