Engineered Tax Services (ETS) has announced the promotion of Sarah Herndon to Chief Financial Officer, marking a historic milestone for both Herndon and the company. Herndon becomes the first woman to serve as CFO in ETS’ 25-year history.
Leadership and Experience
Herndon joined ETS on July 5, 2011, in a Data Entry role and steadily advanced through positions in CRM management, customer service, finance, operations, and leadership. Over the course of her career, she has helped strengthen systems, improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and foster collaboration across departments.
"Sarah’s story embodies what is possible when talent, diligence, and character come together," said Brian Payne, President of Engineered Tax Services. "Having served as both President and CFO, I know what this role requires, and Sarah has earned this opportunity in every way. She brings grit, a solutions-oriented mindset, and genuine compassion to our team, and I have full confidence in the leadership she will bring to this role."
As Chief Financial Officer, Herndon will oversee the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational finance functions while helping guide ETS through its next phase of growth.
