Jackson, WY – The nation’s only all‑female country music festival, Cowgirls at The Cowboy, will once again light up the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole from Thursday, Oct. 22 through Saturday, Oct. 24. The five‑year‑old event, curated by Nashville‑based singer‑songwriter Jenny Tolman, celebrates the strength and talent of women in country music.
Headliner and historic debut
Fourteen‑time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient Emmylou Harris will headline the festival. Harris, whose career spans four decades and includes more than 25 albums, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008 and earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2018. Her appearance marks her first performance in Jackson Hole.
Local and rising talent
The festival opens Thursday night with a Songwriter Showcase. Tolman will be joined by two acclaimed songwriters: Jessi Alexander, whose catalog boasts 11 No. 1 hits and the global hit “The Climb” for Miley Cyrus, and Maui‑born Lily Meola, whose debut album Lucky to Be has amassed over 300 million streams and earned praise from Rolling Stone and Billboard.

Friday features two emerging female acts with full bands. Tolman, fresh from a performance on the CBS series The Road, will present material from her new album Music City Mutt. Co‑headliner Mackenzie Carpenter, nominated for 2026 ACM New Female Artist of the Year, will close the night. Carpenter’s 2025 breakout single “I Wish You Would” (featuring Midland) and recent releases “High Pony” and “Kinda Want Your Man” have positioned her as a next‑generation star.

Tickets range from $35 to $500 per night and go on sale Friday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. MT on cowboybarjh.com. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; shows begin at 8 p.m. Thursday and Saturday will be fully seated, while Friday’s dance floor will be open. Attendees must be 21 or older.
