Elysian Head Spa Offers Personalized Hair Care in Austin

Elysian Head Spa, a new addition to Austin’s wellness scene, is redefining hair care with its personalized and holistic approach. Founded by Wills, a former ICU nurse, and Kirby, who has a background in sales, the spa draws inspiration from head spas popular in Eastern cultures. The duo discovered the concept during a trip to Japan in 2024 and decided to introduce it to the Austin community.

Personalized Treatments

The spa emphasizes four pillars: advanced technology, personalized wellness, eco-friendly products, and education. Clients receive a comprehensive consultation where their scalp is examined with a microscope to tailor a treatment plan. Services include scalp exfoliation, deep conditioning, pressure point massages, and hair waterfall treatments. The spa also offers FoLix laser therapy to enhance hair density.

Wills notes, “We found that clients who attend four sessions over several months see visible improvements in their hair and scalp health.” The spa’s commitment to education extends to a blog that addresses hair health and postpartum hair loss, providing clients with ongoing support and information.

Community Impact and Expansion

Having recently relocated to Central Austin from Clarksville, Elysian Head Spa is poised for growth. The founders are considering expanding to South Austin, Houston, and Dallas. This expansion reflects their success in creating a community-focused business that prioritizes client education and wellness.

Located at 3408 West Ave., Austin, Elysian Head Spa is a testament to the innovative spirit of local entrepreneurs who blend traditional practices with modern technology to enhance community wellness.
