Electric Motorcycle and Vehicle Collision in Renton Leaves Rider Injured

In Renton, Washington, a collision involving an electric motorcycle and a vehicle resulted in minor injuries to the motorcyclist. The incident took place at the intersection of Northeast 12th Street and Lynnwood Avenue Northeast on May 19. According to the Renton Police, the motorcyclist entered the intersection from the sidewalk without stopping, leading to the collision.

Other Incidents Reported

In addition to the motorcycle collision, the Renton Police Blotter reported several other incidents. On May 15, a car break-in was reported on Duvall Avenue Northeast. Two days later, a vehicle’s tire was stabbed on Renton Center Way Southwest. On May 18, officers responded to a shoplifting incident involving $4.50 worth of soda on Northeast 30th Street, and later that night, gas was siphoned from a vehicle on 105th Place Southeast.

On May 26, police responded to a report of assault on Olympia Avenue Northeast, where a woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend. The suspect was arrested for second-degree assault. That same day, a backpack was reported stolen on Renton Center Way Southwest.

Two armed robberies were also reported on May 26. The first occurred on Southeast 168th Street, where a suspect entered a store, brandished a gun, and demanded cash. The second robbery took place on Southwest 7th Street, with a similar method of operation. Both incidents are under investigation.

Additionally, on May 23, officers spotted two individuals using suspected illegal drugs. One was arrested due to an outstanding warrant, while the other received a citation.
