El Paso County’s Aquatics Division will offer swim lessons for all ages and skill levels beginning May 5 and running through June.

Lessons will be available in both group and private formats. The program aims to teach basic skills and water safety for children and adults at different ability levels.

Instruction will take place at three public pools across the county. One of the locations is Ascarate Aquatic Center, 6900 Delta Dr. Lessons at Ascarate are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Programs will also be offered at Canutillo Community and a third public pool in the county. Exact times and session details vary by facility.

Residents who want to enroll or learn more should contact the county’s Aquatics Division or the local pool facilities for registration details and schedules. The lessons continue through June, giving participants multiple weeks to build skills and confidence in the water.
