How to submit your ballot
Completed absentee ballots must be returned by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, either by mail or in person at the Board of Elections. The U.S. Postal Service estimates delivery within two to five days, so voters are urged to mail their ballots early.
If you cannot return the ballot yourself, a family member may do so, but the ballot cannot be placed in a drop box. It must be mailed or delivered directly to the elections office, and the person returning it must sign an attestation form confirming lawful handling.
Disabled voters may designate a non‑employer, non‑union representative to drop off the ballot in person, also signing the required attestation.
Registration deadline
New voters have until Monday, Oct. 5, to register. The Board of Elections will accept registrations until 9 p.m. that day.
