The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV) announced that its office located on South Miami Boulevard in Durham will be closed until Monday, July 13, due to a bed bug infestation. Customers with appointments at the office are being contacted and offered the opportunity to reschedule their appointments at the same date, time, and location of their choice.
Examiners from the Durham DMV office will be temporarily reassigned to other offices to help accommodate more customers during the closure. Nearby offices that offer driver’s license services include the Durham office at 3825 South Roxboro Street, the Carrboro office at 100 N.C. Highway 54, and the Hillsborough office at 1201 U.S. Highway 70 West. These offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
