Two dogs were found tied to a guardrail at the Interstate 84 East truck stop in Willington, Connecticut, on Friday. According to Willington Animal Control, the dogs were left with a 30-pound bag of food and water. While the dogs appeared to have been provided with basic necessities, abandoning animals in this manner is unacceptable and raises serious concerns for their welfare.
Animal control is asking anyone who may recognize the dogs or has information about who may have left them tied to the guardrail to contact animal control. The dogs are currently safe, receiving care, and in good condition. They will be available for adoption in 7-10 days.
