A dog walker in Buenos Aires has found a unique way to show his team spirit during the World Cup. Nahuel Meneghini, also known as ‘Nano’, dresses his pack of 13 dogs in Argentina jerseys as they walk through the city’s streets.
A Fun Way to Support the Team
Meneghini’s idea to dress the dogs in Argentina colors came about last week as the team advanced from the group stage. Two of the dogs he regularly walks, Sirio and Roberta, were already wearing jerseys featuring Lionel Messi’s number 10, which inspired Meneghini to dress the rest of the pack in similar attire.
The dog walker crafted light blue and white collars and leashes for the dogs, adding three rivets to the leashes to represent Argentina’s three World Cup titles. The dogs have become local celebrities, with people stopping to take photos and cheer them on as they walk by.
