Bestselling author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza has released a new book, ‘The Stones Cry Out’, which explores the field of biblical archaeology and its striking support for the historicity of the Bible.

D’Souza became fascinated with biblical archaeology after a trip to Israel, which sparked a three-year deep dive into the subject. His book examines archaeological discoveries tied to people, places, and events described in the Old and New Testaments, revealing the historical credibility of the Bible.
One of the most striking examples of biblical archaeology, D’Souza said, involves a high priest named Caiaphas, described as ‘one of the villains of the Bible.’ Archaeologists excavating in Jerusalem discovered an ossuary, or bone box, bearing the name ‘Yehoseph bar Caiapha’, which dates back to the first century A.D.
D’Souza’s book delves into dozens of such discoveries, including the Pilate Stone, which bears Pontius Pilate’s name and identifies him as ‘prefect of Judea.’ These findings provide stunning corroboration for the people, places, and events in the Bible.
A Call to Visit Israel
D’Souza urged his fellow Christians to visit Israel, calling it ‘our spiritual homeland.’ He described visiting the Pool of Siloam as an ‘exhilarating feeling’, walking the same steps that Jesus took.
