Governor Ron DeSantis has reappointed seven college trustees to their positions across Florida. The reappointments include Jaime DiDomenico to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota District Board of Trustees, and six trustees to North Florida College’s board.
Trustee Backgrounds
The reappointed trustees bring a diverse mix of backgrounds to their positions, including education, law, finance, and public service. Adrienne Taylor, a veteran educator and principal of Suwannee Middle School, was reappointed to North Florida College’s board, along with Sandra Haas, a retired local attorney and former Suwannee County School Board member.
Jon ‘Travis’ Coker, a senior healthcare consulting associate and alumnus of North Florida College, will also retain his seat on the board. The remaining three appointments include Ricky Lyons, a self-employed farmer and former Lafayette County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller; William ‘Billy’ Washington, the current Madison County Clerk and a veteran of the U.S. Army and Florida Army National Guard; and Lloyd ‘Gary’ Wright, a U.S. Army veteran and principal of L. Gary Wright & Associates, LLC.
