Tucked within the ASU campus on Aggie Road, the Fowler Center is a professional-grade performing and visual arts complex that punches well above its weight. From the moment you step through the doors, you sense that this place takes art seriously — not in a stuffy, keep-your-voice-down kind of way, but in the way that suggests the people behind it genuinely believe that culture belongs to everyone. And they put their money where their mouth is.
The main performance hall, Riceland Hall, seats around 1,500 guests and hosts an impressive rotating lineup of touring Broadway productions, nationally recognized musicians, dance companies, and comedy acts throughout the year. The acoustics are genuinely excellent — the kind you notice because the sound wraps around you rather than bouncing off walls. Whether you are catching a visiting symphony or a contemporary dance troupe, the experience feels polished and intentional in a way that rivals venues in cities two or three times Jonesboro’s size.
But the Fowler Center is not only about big-ticket performances.
